Thank You for Your Generosity

Englsih Version:
Happy New Year to you all!
Thank you so much for all the generous donation to my fund raising for the Nepal Orphanage.
The purpose of this  is to let you know more about my planning and where the money goes to.

The organization that I had chosen to work with is called The Umbrella Foundation.

Umbrella has focused on rescuing, housing, and educating trafficked and destitute children. The current capacity is 325 children, living in 8 houses. Now that the civil war is over, Umbrella is focusing on reuniting the children with their families when conditions permit or, when reunification is not possible, providing them the education and vocational skills they need to ensure they can find gainful employment when they become adults. By focusing on this latter stage of the cycle now, The Umbrella Foundation can endeavour to restart the cycle and rescue more conflict-displaced children, whose number is now estimated at 30,000.

The reason for me choosing this Small Organization other than the world well known organization eg World Vision or United Nation is because I feel that the money I raised will go to the children directly rather than to be used to maintain and run the  organization.

Umbrella is financed entirely by donations, child sponsors and fundraisers hosted all over the world. Umbrella request the volunteers to fund raise a minimum of €1000 before coming to Umbrella. This €1000 will cover the living expenses while living with Umbrella; accommodation in the volunteer's house for three months, two meals a day, programme running costs and expenses for the Saturday activities. It will also cover the cost of caring for one child for an entire year! (Umbrella spends ~€750 per child every year).

As the amount of my funding is exceeding the requested minimum fee (€1000), I am planning to donate some money to another organization named Maiti Nepal .

MAITI Nepal was born out of a crusade to protect Nepali girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labor and various forms of exploitation and torture.
The Maiti Nepal rescue and rehabilitation center has helped over 12,000 enslaved and abused girls and women since the early 1990s

As the founder and director of Maiti Nepal , Anuradha Koirala, won the CNN Heroes for the year 2010 previously she had received the Courage of Conscience Award from The Peace Abbey in Sherborn , Massachusetts on August 25, 2006.

Once again, Thank you so much for your generosity!
I wouldn't had make it to this far without your support and encouragement!
Looking forward to share more information soon!
